Title: Newer for Longer – Bringing Sustainable Fabric Care to Consumers Across Formats

Abstract: In the new inflationary market environment of raw material and energy price increases, sustainability is gaining new momentum and consumers are looking to make more savings. Every year more than 80 billion garments are discarded by consumers to landfills, one of the leading causes is simply garments looking pale and feeling old. Consumers worldwide want their clothes to last longer and feel visually clean & new, they demand no-nonsense solutions for their fabric care needs. However, current market solutions are viewed as inadequate as they compromise either on stain removal or fabric care performance, and either are deemed to contain non-sustainable raw materials or are considered expensive.    Novozymes has developed a full range of fabric care solutions that give formulation flexibility like never before, allowing formulators to deliver no-compromise fabric care performance in all types of detergents and softeners. Thus, enabling consumers to enjoy their favorite garments wash after wash as they stay newer for longer, without compromising either on stain removal or real-life fabric care. In the process, creating savings for formulators in production through replacement of chemicals and for consumers by lowering energy costs and avoiding unnecessary new garment purchases.
