Title: Driving change in a changing world: Clariant’s new range of fully segregated, 100% bio-based surfactants and PEGs

Abstract: Clariant is addressing the growing customer need for more sustainable cleaning products without compromising on performance, through launching a range of bio-based non-ionic surfactants and polyethylene glycols. These products under the designator “Vita” are derived from bio-ethanol via a fully segregated supply chain ensuring the actual bio-content of the ingredients. The products are chemically equivalent to existing fossil based products meaning no loss in performance and the switch to bio-feedstocks leads to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of these ingredients.
