Transdermal epidermal growth factor (T-EGF) is a novel human epidermal growth factor (EGF) product developed and manufactured by Longsheng Biotech. Its superior transdermal efficiency compared to EGF enables better application in skincare products for functionalities such as repair, redness reduction, and anti-aging. This article is a recap on the discovery of T-EGF, and reports on the recent clinically proven benefits of applying T-EGF in skin repair formulations with a focus on redness reduction.
