We have begun a series of publications on studies related to the optimization of the antimicrobial product protection effectiveness of multifunctional cosmetic ingredients. Previously, we reported studies on the impact of pH even within a narrow range most relevant to cosmetic products [1]. Powerful combinations with organic acids were also examined as part of our technology platform Symshield®, which explores the concept of barrier technology or hurdle technology in the interest of empowering multifunctionals.
