Vantage is pleased to announce that Dr. Manasi Chavan has joined the team as the Personal Care Global Innovation Director.
In this leadership position, Dr. Chavan will help to drive connectivity and innovation across our global personal care technical teams. With the creation of this role, we are better aligning the technology organization to ensure that we provide optimal support for our global customers and stay closely connected to our internal teams all while providing functional excellence and driving functional efficiency.
Dr. Chavan’s background is well suited to help lead our personal care technology organization with her extensive individual and leadership experience in research and development, formulations, technical service, and marketing in the personal care industry. Dr. Chavan graduated with her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Mumbai and received her MBA in Business Management from the Harriman School of Business at Stony Brook University. She started her career as a post-doctoral researcher and then a research assistant professor at Stony Brook University. After teaching for a few years, Dr. Chavan moved into industry with BASF Corporation and worked in various leadership roles at in R&D, Technical Service, and Marketing in the areas of Actives, Personal Care Technologies and Face Care Technologies.
