The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) announced the election of the 2020 Executive Officers. The Executive Officer roles are the highest-ranking volunteer positions within the organization, responsible for representing the interests of more than 5,700 individual cosmetics and personal care industry members globally.
Effective January 1, 2020, SCC’s Executive Officers are:
President: Mindy Goldstein, PhD (Mindy S. Goldstein, PhD Consulting)
Vice President: Liz Streland (Croda, Inc.)
Vice President-Elect: Michelle Hines, PhD (Mary Kay, Inc.)
Secretary: Yulia Park, PhD (Amway Corporation)
Treasurer: Mark Chandler (ACT Solutions Corp.)
“I am excited to work with this group of Executive Officers on our strategic plan goals to further solidify the SCC as the premier education, networking and scientific resource in the cosmetics and personal care industry,” said Erica L. O’Grady, CAE, SCC’s Executive Director/CEO. “Their collective industry expertise and insights will position the organization to deliver even more value, positively impacting members and the industry as a whole,” she added.“It is an honor to represent the SCC as its 74th President,” says Dr. Goldstein.
