Biesterfeld Spezialchemie is expanding its partnership with the American company DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences and is now responsible, with immediate effect, for the extensive textile enzymes portfolio throughout Europe, Russia, Turkey, and North Africa.
Since 2016, Biesterfeld has been distributing DuPont's GENENCARE®OSMS portfolio, a natural moisturiser used in the cosmetics industry, in selected European countries. Biesterfeld has now been granted extended distribution rights to include textile enzyme. The products are marketed under the brand names of Optisize®, Primafast®, PrimaGreen® and IndiAge® and are used predominantly in the textile and leather sectors.
“The enzyme product range is a new addition to the Biesterfeld cleaning portfolio. This is good news for our customers, who will benefit not only from proven, reliable products, but also from sustainable processing techniques and more efficient production operations - increasingly important considerations in this sector,” commented Sergej But, Market Manager Cleaning at Biesterfeld Spezialchemie. “Enzymes act as catalysts and accelerate processes, allowing shorter washing cycles at cooler temperatures. Some products require fewer surfactants which reduces the environmental impact.”
