Leading contract formulation specialist, Here2Grow, has recently won Cosmetics Development Specialist of the Year – UK, in the Innovation & Excellence Awards, run by Corporate LiveWire - the global business information specialist. The national award, which celebrates the success and achievements of firms and individuals that have taken an innovative approach to demonstrate exceptional business performance, was presented on 23-24 November 2021, at Hazlewood Castle Hotel & Spa, near Leeds.

With clients ranging from global FMCG companies, to leading boutique organisations, Here2Grow provide bespoke formulation services, ensuring that clients can get the best market positioning to optimise their product development aspirations. The company assists with innovative ideation, development and manufacturing of products and has a growing portfolio in personal care, home care, detergents and dish wash technology and green technologies.

The judging panel were impressed by the comprehensive range of formulation services Here2Grow provides. Beginning with the product development stage, the Here2Grow team will work closely with a client to understand their overall objects, pricing and time-scale requirements before designing a product brief and feasible prototypes. Following client feedback, the team will use the latest in-house technologies to perform physico-chemical stability testing with a view to ensuring that the safety and physical integrity of the product is maintained throughout its development cycle. Once these stages have been completed, the business will further assist with the transition into the manufacturing processes if needed, including a recommendation for a manufacturer to suit a client’s minimum batch size. 

The judges, who praised both CEO Henry Brew’s and Director of Regulatory Compliance Vinetta Brew’s commitment to upholding the business’s core values, commented that: “The pair work incredibly hard to ensure the products they help develop bring value to their respective markets, while opening up opportunities for innovation.
