LIFTILIENCE®: The power of a polyvalent tensor with optimal adhesion

LIFTILIENCE® is a film-forming natural active ingredient derived from chestnuts and composed of functionalized helical biopolymers obtained through the unique FHB technology®*. Combining controlled hydrolysis and ionic functionalization, this technology gives LIFTILIENCE® optimized and scientifically proven tensor effect and adhesion properties. As a result, this 6th generation polyvalent tensor from SILAB offers multiple, rapid and long-lasting cosmetic benefits for the face and body. In 2025, SILAB brings additional efficacy data to this unique phytotensor.

Lifting effect on the face

The cosmetic benefits provided by LIFTILIENCE® have been enhanced by studying the rapid lifting effect of the product formulated at 0.32% in a gel on the face. The results show that LIFTILIENCE® significantly lifts crow’s feet wrinkles as of 15 minutes after a single application.

Tensor effect on the body

To complement the rapid sensorial and tensor effects already demonstrated of LIFTILIENCE®, SILAB determined its long-lasting tensor effect on the body. The results show that 4 hours after having applied a gel formula containing 0.16% LIFTILIENCE® to the thighs, skin firmness is significantly increased by 5%, skin elasticity by 8% and skin tone by 34%. The tensor effect of LIFTILIENCE®on the body is thus reinforced.

Long-term cosmetic benefits

LIFTILIENCE® is recognized for its capacity to provide rapid (3 to 15 minutes) and long-lasting (4 to 12 hours) benefits. In 2025, SILAB chose to also study its long-term action. As a result, after 21 days of twice-daily application, LIFTILIENCE® provides an anti-wrinkle effect by significantly smoothing forehead wrinkles (-11%). A significant effect is also observed on complexion radiance (reflection: +14%; pink color: +17%; olive color:

-14%; state of the eye fatigue: -17%). These results are confirmed by a subjective evaluation, since 78% of volunteers found their wrinkles and lines less visible and 91% of them found their skin more luminous. In addition, 100% of them consider it softer.

These complementary studies therefore confirm the positioning of LIFTILIENCE® as the next generation polyvalent tensor for the face and body, thanks to its multiple rapid, long-lasting and long-term benefits for the face and body.

OXYGESKIN®: Reactivates the skin’s oxygenation mechanisms

OXYGESKIN® is a natural active ingredient derived from the nasturtium flower, which revives complexion radiance by reinvigorating skin oxygenation in conditions of chronological aging or digital pollution. The skin’s quality is thus improved and the healthy-glow effect restored. In 2025, SILAB brings additional efficacy data to this active ingredient.

Effect on the expression of miRNAs transported by extracellular vesicles

Extracellular vesicles (EVs), including exosomes, act as biological messengers, by transporting proteins, lipids and nucleic acids (miRNAs) between a donor and a recipient cell. In cosmetics, the interest of exosomes has been demonstrated for anti-aging benefits, as well as effects on regeneration and radiance. In this context, SILAB decided to explore the regulation of skin oxygenation by exosomes.

The results show that, when tested at 0.25% on aged human fibroblasts, OXYGESKIN® significantly reduces the expression of miRNAs repressing the biological pathways:

  • of oxygenation (HIF-1α) and cellular energy production (ATP);
  • essential to dermal homeostasis such as hydration, proliferation and organization of the dermal matrix;
  • essential to epidermal homeostasis such as epidermal differentiation, proliferation and regeneration.

OXYGESKIN® thus reduces the expression of miRNAs which repress biological functions essential to the skin and present in extracellular vesicles, including exosomes.  

Cosmetic benefits in a body care product

In 2025, SILAB also investigated the effect of OXYGESKIN® on the body. To this end, the active ingredient was applied at 1% to the thighs. After 14 days of twice daily application, parameter a*, characteristic of skin oxygenation, is significantly increased by 4.5%. A significant smoothing action on the microrelief is also observed (-6.3%) and confirmed by volunteers themselves since 89% of them consider their skin to be velvety (subjective evaluation). In addition, the skin is more radiant and more beautiful according to 83% and 89% of volunteers, respectively. Finally, OXYGESKIN® also significantly improves skin firmness by 7%.

These complementary studies therefore confirm the positioning of OXYGESKIN® as a true gust of oxygen. The active ingredient is recommended in all types of face and body care products intended to revive skin radiance.
