Akademie Fresenius are currently sending out invitations to their eighth Fresenius Cosmetics Conference - a symposium designed for quality managers and research and development heads - which will be taking place in Mainz on 19 and 20 March 2019. At this two-day event, company experts and specialists from the research sector and the authorities will be discussing the topics the industry is most concerned about: Innovative product concepts, new methods for conducting effects studies and regulatory updates.

Not only are the latest test results from the Stiftung Warentest test institute on the discussion agenda, but also the results of recent trials in the hair care, sunscreen, anti-pollution and skin care sectors. In addition, the programme includes the safety of cosmetic ingredients as well as the challenges involved in assessing nanomaterials, CMR and plant extracts. Furthermore, this event provides insights into future consumer behaviour and presents the opportunities offered by “psychophysiological assessments” for measuring emotions when developing products.
