Procedure

  1. Phase A: heat water up to 75° C and disperse LIPOID P 75-3 with moderate shear, then add the remaining ingredients
  2. Add all ingredients of phase B to a separate vessel and heat it up to 75 °C
  3. Add phase B to A and homogenize
  4. Cool down to 40 °C and add the ingredients of phase C. Mix well
  5. Add the preservative and perfume. Homogenize shortly
  6. Adjust the pH to ~ 6.5

Successfully passed internal stress test (3 months at 5 °C, 25 °C and 40 °C)

Successfully passed microbial challenge test (ISO 11930)

Appearance/ Aim

A light–beige, soft emulsion based on vegan ingredients - and thus perfectly suitable for consumers who embrace a vegan lifestyle. The use of hydrogenated lecithin (LIPOID P 75-3) as a natural and sole emulsifier provides the formulation a smooth and silky after-feel.

Ingredients

  • Hydro-Gain™ is a barrier-strengthening hydration booster. Consumer tests showed that an economical concentration of 1% is sufficient to provide instant (1h) and day-to-day (24h) hydration, for body and face, from the surface to the deepest layers.
