Innovation based on scientific rigour?

Pioneering in the use of the PAOT Technology® in nutricosmetics (Total AntiOxidant Power score), which allows quantifying the antioxidant capacity of a biological tissue, the Health & Beauty division of the group based in Grasse demonstrated that one capsule of Damasty®, namely 300mg, increased the skin’s natural antioxidant defences in women after only one month of daily consumption. The results were confirmed by an indirect count conducted in a cohort of 42 women over a period of three months, within a double-blind trial. A significant reduction was observed in the trial group as compared to the control group. These two placebo-controlled clinical trials demonstrate the mechanism of action through which Damasty® consumption allows strengthening the natural defence of the skin and better preparing it to withstand external aggressions.

As Robertet group values scientific excellence, which is a key feature of the group, they managed to demonstrate by means of a trial conducted in 18 women that the rose extract at the core of Damasty® has very high bioavailability; the kinetic responses were significantly dose-dependent, proving that the extract is successfully metabolised and made available to the skin to use it to its advantage.

Another study supplementing Damasty®’s scientific file has been conducted on melon Superoxyde Dismutase (SOD B®), which significantly enhances skin resistance to UVs. The results suggest the synergy between Robertet’s active ingredients within the formulation of this ingredient in terms of antioxidant power.

 
Scientifically proven results for visible effects on the skin

Thanks to its deep knowledge in relation to Damasty®’s mechanism of action, Robertet Health & Beauty also proved the ingredient's efficacy on skin brightness and evenness. The first findings: after two months where women daily consumed 300mg (1 capsule) of this novel active ingredient, 100% of subjects indicated their skin was brighter. 

The difference in terms of skin evenness also evolved throughout the trial. The results showed a significant improvement in terms of skin evenness (+45%) between the beginning of the study and the end of the two-month supplementation period with Damasty®. Finally, the melanin index further confirmed these effects. This marker diminished significantly more in the women having consumed the tested product starting from the first month as compared to the women in the placebo group. This effect continued to intensify until the third month of consumption, thereby demonstrating the effect of Damasty® on skin evenness.
