Abstract
T o prevent colour fading or colour changes of dyed textiles in the washing process, up to 5% by weight of colour care additives are added to the laundry softener containing from 2 to 40% by weight of fabric softeners. This contains a mixture of polyvinylpyrrolidone-vinylimidazole copolymer, ammonium chloride and/or PE, PEI salt or mixtures thereof. The optimum ratio of ammonium chloride to polyvinylpyrrolidone-vinylimidazole copolymer may be 1:2 to 1:6 for improved stability.
