Abstract

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has defined under the Biocides Regulation (BPR) in Annex I a category of not hazardous biocides to health and environment for a simplified approval procedure consisting of a list of 18 substances, among others, organic acids and essential oils. These for the UniBlue® Universal Disinfection used organic acids are safe to the skin and
environment and do not require any warning signs. For the disinfection of surfaces by wiping and spraying bacteria, fungi, viruses, mycobacteria and spores are killed and inactivated,
respectively. On the surfaces no resistant residues are formed.
