Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan primarily localized in the extracellular matrix (ECM), connective tissues, epithelial layers, and neural tissues. HA plays an important role in various cellular processes such as proliferation, migration, and differentiation, which are essential for tissue repair and regeneration. Its involvement in angiogenesis, extracellular matrix remodeling, and oxidative stress protection underscores its importance in both physiological and pathological states.
The aim of this study was to assess the skin, hair and nail penetration of caprHAO and its biological efficacy across various applications in cutaneous, hair, and nail contexts.
