OXYGESKIN® Reactivates the Skin's Oxygenation Mechanisms

(1) A novel SILAB modeling has shown that blue light reduces the skin’s capacity to mobilize the oxygen sensor HIF-1 (-44%). Tested at 0.25% on irradiated keratinocytes, OXYGESKIN® increases the HIF-1 content (+26%).
(2) Tested at 1% on human skin explants irradiated with blue light, OXYGESKIN® significantly restores the organization of elastin and fibrillin-1 fibers (+92%), thereby protecting the dermis from digital pollution.

In 2010, SILAB proved the radiance-enhancing effect of OXYGESKIN®: by boosting oxygenation of the asphyxiated skin of Caucasian volunteers, it significantly improves the skin grain, the pink color, the reflection and the healthy-glow effect.

Today, SILAB focused on the benefits of OXYGESKIN® in a digital pollution background. Tested on the skin of Caucasian and Asian volunteers exposed chronically to digital pollution for at least 10 years, OXYGESKIN® formulated at 2.5% in an emulsion:
  • - reinforces the skin barrier by decreasing the transepidermalwater loss by -11.5%;
  • - smooths the microrelief by reducing the mean stage ofcrow’s feet wrinkles by -16.4%;
  • - improves the uniformity of the skin by +28.9%.
