Eurofragance Enters The United States Market by Acquiring Fragrance Design

Eurofragance, a company specialising in fragrance design and creation, is entering the United States market by acquiring a majority shareholding in Fragrance Design LLC, based in Atlanta (Georgia). This acquisition has given Eurofragance a firmer foothold on the American continent and strengthened its position in the Body Care and Household sectors, the new company’s specialist areas. Eurofragance, which already operates in the American market through a plant and creative centre in Mexico, is now entering the United States.

Fragrance Design by Eurofragance will keep its existing workforce, and add new members of staff. Eurofragance will provide the necessary financing and human resources to ensure growth and development. This recent acquisition includes 1,200 square metres of facilities equipped with modern technologies and an extensive fragrance library, which will join Eurofragance’s current range. The team at Fragrance Design and its founder, William L. Hamilton, are extremely experienced in the Body Care and Household sector. Mr Hamilton is staying on as a minority shareholder and general manager. He will work with the Eurofragance management team to implement a five-year expansion plan in the United States.

Eurofragance is an international company of a family-run origin, devoted to the design and production of fragrances for perfumery, personal and home care products. Eurofragance is a socially responsible company. It is committed to training by granting scholarships to IQS students and cooperates with the UPC Campus in Terrassa through the F&F (Aromas and Fragrances) Master’s programme, for which it provides materials and teachers. It belongs to the Sponsorship Council and Pascual Maragall Foundation by contributing to research on Alzheimer’s disease. It participates in research on the effect olfactory therapies applied to neurodegenerative diseases in childhood. It develops policies for the reconciliation of family and working life for its employees.
