Title: Elaya Renova™ The Hair Tensegrist - HAIR ANCHORING BOOSTING

Abstract: Hair care has always focused on the visible part of the hair: the hair shaft. Today, however, we know that stress, pollution, diet, UV radiation, etc. negatively affect the entire hair structure, including the scalp and follicles. These factors expose the scalp and hair to oxidative stress, which eventually leads to redness and scaling of the scalp, as well as hair breakage and increased fragility. The new active ingredient ELAYA RENOVA™ nourishes and strengthens all elements of the hair structure and improves the volume, moisture content and shine of the hair from the inside out. The active ingredient, derived from Olea europaea (olive) stem cells, delivers a nourishing proteo-lipid matrix to the scalp and hair cortex that strengthens, volumizes, moisturizes and revitalizes damaged hair and scalp. Through a qRT-PCR analysis of hair follicle biopsies, we were able to prove that the hair is more firmly anchored in scalp as we were able to increase the anchoring proteins (Versican & Collagen17A) in the clinical study. Further in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo studies demonstrate the activity of the ingredient and the new concept of restoring "Hair Tensegrity". The ingredient opens a new vision for the entire hair care market by addressing cosmetic applications such as hair "skinification", hair volume enhancement and hydration, as well as hair and scalp care (protection, restructuring, regeneration, revitalization, strengthening and general beautification). Without having to use another product, the multi-active ingredient offers the possibility of meeting all hair care needs with a single ingredient.
