The Central Organ of Soap Manufacturers published an invitation to advertise in their “Seifensieder-Zeitung” (in English: soap boiler newspaper) as follows back on July 15, 1882:
“As is well known, our magazine is the only trade journal representing the interests of the soap and fat industry and has a circulation of more than 3,000 copies and is read in around 1,000 cities by over 5,000 industry specialists.”
