Abstract
A machine dishwashing detergent in single-dose format is prepared by layering a solid powder detergent composition and a solid gel composition in a water-soluble single-chamber container (e.g. a sachet) made from a water-soluble polymer film of PVOH. Both components are in direct contact. For example, the single-chamber bag contains 18 grams of powder and
2 grams of solid gel.
