Abstract

As consumers look to avoid expensive dental treatments, they will favor daily hygiene routines, keeping their teeth clean, using cosmetic products that promote a healthy oral cavity. In this article, we focus on the pathways of some of the most common inflammatory reactions of the oral cavity. Therefore, Symrise developed a range of cosmetic ingredients based on key pillars that answers direct consumers’ needs: oral mucosa and malodor reduction, redness and biofilm prevention, and soothing burning, and stinging sensations: SymReboot^® OC, SymRelief^® 100, SymSitive^® 1609, SymGuard^® CD and Farnesol.
