Dear colleagues in the fragrance industry,

We cordially invite you to participate in the upcoming conference of the "German Association of Perfumers in SEPAWA® e.V." Our spring conference, entitled "Volatile Times," will take place this year from April 25th to 26th in the historical setting of the Czech capital. You can look forward to engaging presentations on raw materials, regulatory matters, and marketing, as well as opportunities for networking with colleagues from the fragrance industry.

Anne-Cécile Signoret (Symrise AG) will guide us through her presentation on the current international legislation affecting the fragrance industry and provide insights into what we can expect in the near future on the regulatory front.

On the topic of natural raw materials, Jens-Achim-Protzen (EFEO) will report on the collective efforts on the European level to safeguard "naturals" in the Green Deal.

Dominique Roques (Balsam consulting) will then transport us to the countries of origin of these precious raw materials for perfumery, introducing his book "Essences of the World" among other topics.

The concluding presentations will be delivered by our new advisory board member, Silke Weyland (BASF SE), discussing marketing in the current regulatory environment.

We will embark on a cruise on the Vltava (Moldau) River in the evening, where we can enjoy the view of Prague and its surroundings, along with a festive dinner. This will provide for plenty of opportunity for lively professional discussions.

Friday morning, a city tour and a professional tour of the historic U Fleků Brewery are planned, where the aromas of different beer varieties will be introduced during a tasting. The conference will conclude with a shared lunch at U Fleků, Prague's most famous beer tavern.
