KRAHN Chemie is expanding its successful cooperation with LANXESS in the biocides business: As of July 1, 2023, the portfolio of KRAHN also includes the brands Rocima®, Kathon® and Bioban® recently acquired by LANXESS. With the new distribution rights, KRAHN is strengthening the local presence of the LANXESS biocide portfolio in Germany, Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
KRAHN Chemie has been working together with LANXESS’ biocide division since 2017 marketing one of the broadest biocide portfolios provided by the Preventol® range. As part of LANXESS’ acquisition of the Microbial Control business of the U.S. group International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF), the biocides such as Rocima®, Kathon® and Bioban® were recently added to the company’s product range.
After the acquisition, LANXESS now offers an even broader biocide portfolio for paints and coatings, construction materials, wood preservatives, leather and plastics. With the transfer of the distribution rights in these markets, KRAHN expands the sales network with immediate effect, strengthening customers and industries with technical expertise, application know-how and regulatory support.
