The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) has opened the Call for Papers for podium presentation consideration at the 77th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase, December 11-13, 2023, at the Sheraton New York Times Square.
Now in its 77th year, the annual meeting is where more than 1,000 subject matter experts, decision makers, and influencers gather for technical education sessions and networking opportunities. The showcase features more than 100 poster and tabletop exhibits showcasing new product innovations, raw materials, technologies, and student research making the annual meeting one of must-attend events in the industry.
“I am excited to work with our Committee on Scientific Affairs in developing another first-class technical education program this year,” said Erica O’Grady, CEO of the Society. “The annual meeting features the industry expertise, scientific advancements, and peer networking you just can’t get anywhere else,” she added.
This year, SCC is seeking abstract submissions focused on the following topics:

- New or Novel Ingredient, Process, and Formulation Technologies

- Sustainability
- Claims & Regulatory
- Photoprotection

To be considered for a podium presentation, interested parties should visit scconline.org/callforpapers and submit their abstract by 11:59pm ET on Monday, May 15, 2023.
