Procedure

  1. Mix components of A at 70 °C
  2. Mix components of B to 60 °C
  3. Add B to A and homogenize with a rotor-stator mixer
  4. Cool down to 40 °C while stirring
  5. Add C
  6. Mix components of D until a homogenous solution is obtained
  7. Add D to ABC at about 40 °C
  8. Add E to the mixture
  9. Adjust pH to approx. 6.0 if necessary
  10. Homogenize again shortly
  11. Wait one day for final viscosity

Technical Data

  • Appearance: slightly beige lotion
  • pH value: approx. 6.0

Formulation Stability

Successfully passed internal stress test (6 weeks at 45 °C and 5 freeze-thaw cycles -18/ +45 °C)

Microbiological Stability

Successfully passed microbial challenge test (Ph. Eur. 5.1.3/current version)
